Well, the question is simple, how do I know what exactly
version of Windows XP/Service Pack is installed on a
computer?
I read about "methods" in this article
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/888162. But I have the
following: Version 5.1 (Build
2600.xpsp.050301-1526:Service Pack 1)!
According to the article it should be SP2, but it clearly
says SP1!
Next, on the other machine I have just "Version 5.1
(Build 2600)".
What does this mean?
Is the there any place/site with the official (from
Microsoft) list(s) of version numbers?
