I you don't want to use Edge, don't. There's no need to delete it.
Simply set whatever browser you prefer as the default.

And by the way, I meant to add that as much as I dislike it, Edge is not
malware; it's nothing like any form of malware. I dislike it because
it's clumsy and its UI makes it more difficult to do the things I want
to do.

That's a far cry from what malware does.

I should also say that despite its bad history, it's not a bad browser
and stands up to all the usual suspects.

far as I'm concerned, it's the worst of all available browsers.


Nah, nowhere near. Internet Exploiter 6 was *dreadful*. The only
times I ever used that were at work and to download a different
browser.

Even I.E. 11 was better.
