I downloaded the latest driver for Nvidia
version 368.81 then required me to re-start
the computer and it came back with the yellow
triangle with black exclamation point.

Install of the driver looks good. I would
not expect an NVIdia video card driver to
affect network status. Unless it installed
some disruptive helper libraries.
How many Firewalls do you have ? The Windows
Firewall might be turned on. Maybe Avast has
a Firewall ?
