Probably the easiest (or quickest) ways to get a clean setup of
Windows XP is to get VirtualPC from Microsoft and install a clean
copy of Windows XP into a virtual machine. Just do the install of
Windows XP, followed by visiting the Windows Updates site as often
until all critical and recommended updates are done and no more
