Microsoft is coding their product to forcibly apply updates without user
intervention (and user authorization). So don't rely on Microsoft
playing nice in their code. Use other code to block the updates.

Just a rumor so far but I heard that people are working on a jailbreak
program similar to what is used to get root privileges on iphones.
