Default Is it possible to install Windows XP Pro. SP3, with its bootable slipstreamed CD, into an external USB2 HDD?

I suggest you read the original post from that thread again, since
you
misunderstood it from day one:

And? What is different than what I said? Office 2000 SR1 is a very
outdated build. The last build was Office 2000 SP3 and a bit more to
follow which I all documented.

What is different, which you STILL don't get, is that his question
was
about the OFF2007 updates.
Geez, you're hopeless.

Yeah I figured you were too dumb to understand. If you have Office
2000 SR1 and being offered Office 2007, what is the deal? What about
Office 2000? Yeah I understand, you are just too dumb to understand.

Apparently you are too dumb to understand. He is offered OFF2007
updates from Microsoft Update, because he has the 2007 Compatibility
Pack installed and OFF2007 is a supported application. He is not being
offered Office 2000 updates from Microsoft Update because Office 2000 is
not a supported application and Microsoft Update doesn't supply them via
automatic updates any longer. His question was about the Office 2007
updates being offered, which you never even addressed. Just go away and
stop wasting our time, please.
