Well, I do have an SSD and thanks for the Agent Ransack. Free
suggestion.

SSD or not, If you want to do searches by file name, Search
Everything
is *much* faster than Agent Ransack. But it doesn't do searches by
content, so I recommend getting both.
Thanks, but I already have and use Search Everything. It is excellent.
But, back to my original problem, why did the magnifying glass search
not
find the Calculator like it always has in the past? No problem at all
and
instant.
I just created a task bar shortcut for Calculator so no real problem
I think it had something to do with the latest Win10 update(s) (1903
era)

I don't know why, but I can report that I run 1903 and I just checked;
it *does* find calculator here,

Did you install Cul Update for Net Frame KB4502584

Yes.

or Cul Update for Win10
ver 1903 KB4501375 yet?

I hadn't, but I just did, and tried searching for calculator again. It
still finds it without a problem.

Not sure that is what caused my little problem, but just checking.
I installed them on Jum 28 2019.
Thanks,

Hey, thanks for that info.

You're welcome. I wish I could be more help and could suggest what
might be wrong.

I was just curious as to what caused it.
Thanks for all your time.
