Default A new scam

I did get one ringers at first as reported in an earlier post.

If you have had no single-ring calls, you can't credit Nomorobo
for that.

However my cordless phone system has a programming feature that
allows me to turn off the first ring on ALL calls. Now there is
SILENCE, even from NoMoRoBo! Life is good...

So you only hear a call if they let it ring for two or more rings? I
wish I had that feature.

It's true that in the last few days with my new found blessed
first ring SILENCE I can't tell for sure if there were any blocked
calls. However I ASSume that when I go from 3 (average) a day to
SILENCE that things are working.

I still wouldn't make that assumption. I haven't had any junk calls
since last Friday but I'm certain that Nomorobo is working and would
have given me the one ring. The lack of junk calls is just part of the
cycle.

I don't know who your phone service is, but mine, Comcast, has a web
log page where you can see all incoming and outgoing calls. Calls that
Nomorobo blocks are easy to distinguish.

BTW Did I mention how nice the SILENCE is...

I have a hazy recollection of long ago silence... or was it just a
dream?
