I don't have any particular advice, but I also
avoid Amazon. I recently got a router at Microcenter.
Before that I got a network switch and some other
things at provantage.com. Why? Because they were the
people selling through Amazon. Amazon typically forces
them to charge the same or more if they sell direct, but
I'd still rather give them the business and cut out Amazon.
I've never bought anything from Amazon and probably
never will. But I sometimes find sources through them.
