Although I've never used Messenger Plus or MSN Messenger (wouldn't put
any intrusive (to the point of being Spyware) MSN crapware on my
machines for love nor money!), if Messenger plus has 6 million users
and you aren't making at least $1 US per user (even for freeware),
then you have a lot bigger things to worry about than an impotent
Microsoft MVP's liable attempts. Don't sweat Sandi. Her reputation
among experienced computer user groups precludes her ability to harm
you, your program or anything else. Have a good one.

B ...
Information about Patchou's alleged income that was posted to this

B newsgroup
has already been removed from my web page

B I see you're at it again Sandi. Update of 15th October.
B ==========
B A person by the name of P, Cyril
B - (***the email address has
B been changed to protect P. Cyril from spam and flamemail***) is, at
B the date of writing this segment (15 October 2004), the name behind
B www.msgplus.net
B ==========

B Now while this is all well and good, during your synopsis you
B repost the edited email address and then on the same line you
B inform people what to replce your edited portion with in order to
B make it a valid address.

B Slightly hypocrytical, wouldn't you say?
B ==========
B Synopsis:
B Secure Software, Inc = Cyril Paciullo/Paciullo Cyril, Alex Shamash
B and Jason Lucas
B www.msgplus net = P, Cyril
B - edited address - replace popularemailprovider.com with
B ************** [removed actual provider with FAR too many stars])
B ==========

B Another thing, you keep going on about the useage statistics that
B MsgPlus sends back to Patchou like it's a crime to see what
B features are being used the most, so that he knows what to focus on
B for future releases.

B I'm sure I've seen similar tick boxes on Messenger itself, as well
B as Windows Media Player. It's ok for M$ to request stats on users
B habits, but when Patchou request similar kinds of info (more than
B likely, it's less intrusive than what WMP or MSN requests), it's
B not allowed? Also, the option for user data for MSN and WMP is ON
B by default. I know this as I've just done a system rebuild with XP
B and I had to turn these 'useage data' tick boxes off myself after
B installing both Messenger (MSN and Windows versions) and WMP10.
B Oops, another point of your argument against MsgPlus out the
B window.

B For crying out loud, grow up, download version 3.25 and see for
B yourself what Patchou has done to try to keep the SIX MILLION
B people that use his software add-on happy.

B Regards,
B Brian!
