I use it too, but it's not a background program and it doesn't slow
Windows down at all. You run it only when you need to, not all the time.


But, if you tell DesktopOK to save every so often, is is somehow running
in the background. If I tell is to only save on request, in my case,
with 2 people using the PC, I might miss something.
