Default bank site & enabling java

Dallas wrote:
thanks again twayne, but I have done that, it was already checked as
enabled, but still i cant get into the credit union site.
now what about this: above the scripting option, in custom level,
under Misc. are these 2 things, both of which are checked as disabled:
Allow scripting of IE browser control
&
Allow script initiated windows without size or position constraints

thanks & i have an email to the credit union to have them take a look

I've never noticed those and thus haven't even looked at them, so no
help there. It sounds like a possibility though and worth trying. If
it's not a fix, set them back until you can learn more about them.
Watch out that you aren't enabling something for untrusted sites or
anything like that. On a quick scan, all I find similar to what you
mentioned is for untrusted sites, NOT something you want to allow
scripts on if you don't have to.

It's a long shot but have you previously done what this page talks
about?

That could be one of the problems; dropmyrights.msi.

Sorry,

Twayne

hope this finds all doing well.

just tried to log into my credit union's site & they now say :"Your
browser is not capable of viewing this site because it does not
support JavaScript or JavaScript may be disabled. Please enable
JavaScript on your browser. "
I am trying to find out how to enable it, but still searching.

any/all will be appreciated - thanks ia!

As already mentioned, Java and Javascript are two different things.
Here are some links that should help you out:

This one includes several different browsers besides IE.
