Default bank site & enabling java

Thanks Daave & I have subsequently did that & it is checked Enabled & has
been, so that's why I am curious(& frustrated) about it as I had not been in
there to change anything. I am still awaiting to hear back from the credit
union IT people.

thanks again

You opened the wrong tab. Instead, drill down this way:

Tools | Internet Options | Security | Custom Level | Scripting | Active
Scripting

Which choice is selected? Enable, Disable, or Prompt?

Also, you should clear your browser cache and close IE7 and open it again.

i see in toolsoptionsadvanced the box for java(sun) is checked but
beneath it, under "MS VM"the boxes for "java console
enabled(restart)" & " java logging enabled" are not.

1, do i check both & 2, i never unchecked them, so how did this
happen ?
thanks again

hope this finds all doing well.

just tried to log into my credit union's site & they now say :"Your
browser is not capable of viewing this site because it does not
support JavaScript or JavaScript may be disabled. Please enable
JavaScript on your browser. "

I am trying to find out how to enable it, but still searching.

any/all will be appreciated - thanks ia!
