The Folder Attribute is marked 'Read Only' I unset this and click 'apply' and click OK. I then check the Prperties again and the Attribute has reverted to 'Read Only' I don't know how to overcome this.

I will make a new Folder and copy the files into it and see how I go on, I will report back.

Thanks once again,

Sorry for the delay in responding, but I have been away.
Have done further checks and I seem to have identified the problem to one folder of images which is a sub-folder in a 'Tree' of numerous other folders. I don't want to delete this folder unless there is no other option, as there are photos on it I wish to keep. However when I use Explorer to display the files, with a view to copying them to another folder, within a few seconds, Explorer crashes.
Is there any way I can check the folder before having to delete it?

Further help/advice will be very much appreciated.
