Will USB 2.0 and 1.1 Coexist?

YES - just done it! (installed USB2 card) Now have 6 USB1 and 2 USB2 ports.
But, be aware of potential problems - following this procedure might save
you hours of grief.
First - connect an old PS2 mouse and keyboard. Ensure you have NO active USB
devices (incl cordless receiver).
Having installed USB2 card and drivers and booted, go to System/Device
Manager and UNINSTALL every instance of USB - there's quite a few. Close
down and re-boot with USB mouse/keyboard/receiver re-connected, if you have
them.
XP will then re-install USB's the way it wants them - should be trouble free
(though I had a little problem with Logitech radio controller - k/b worked,
but not mouse - resolved by re-installing Logitech Keyboard driver).
Do tell if this helps - sincerely, Len

If a computer has onboard USB 1.1 and a 2.0 PCI card is added, will the
two work at the same time? I understand that 1.1 devices will only work at
1.1 speed, but can a system handle the two simultaneously?
Thanks to all for the responses.
