Firefox is a browser.
The mail program from the same source is Thunderbird
(https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/).

It comes in two versions. One installs normally, and the other installs
as a portable version which can save space on your main drive.

Yes. Avoid MS browsers and Windows Media Player too (VLC from
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ seems to work well here).

I have been using it for years and never had a problem, it is secure and
easy to use.


I left Outlook Express when Windows 98 was the latest version. I'm not
sure what I was using for mail then, but now it's Thunderbird.


I'm downloading it now. I'll give it another shot. Thanks.
