Arguably OT but I'm guessing there must be other iPhone users here,

I can enter Reminders and Calendar events on my iPhone, iPad or my Win
10 PC. They are ‘synced’ in the sense that they all appear in the lists
on all three computers. But how do I get the alert message to pop up on
my Win 10 PC when due please? After much research I’m frustrated that
I’ve still not found a solution.

There's a dialog at the end of this page.

I think the intent of the design, is to create
a "plumbers nightmare", a sea of sliders you have
to manipulate to make stuff work.

Another point might be, that not all the things
stuffed in a calendar may have a Notification
associated with them. Schedule a "meeting" as an
event, as that's the thing most likely to have
a "reminder" concept associated with it. If your
birthday is on a certain date, entering that
in the calendar wouldn't be "noteworthy". When would
it be appropriate to give a Notification dialog for
that ?

Thanks Paul, but I'm lost!

Surely it doesn't have to be this complicated to get an alert when I've
asked for one?
