When I click on my INternet explorer to connect to web through the default connnection, there is a bad password saved in that window. I can delete the bad connection only to have it reappear on the next boot up. How can I rid my system of that bad passw

ord/connection error?

How do you know that it's a bad password? Windows XP always displays
the same number of characters for a dial-up password, regardless of
the password's actual length. Try connecting and see if it works.
