The polarized plug you're holding is turned wrong, so you need to
turn it around for it to fit. As some say "it only takes half a second".
Suppose you have 20 things to plug in today. About half will need to
be turned around. That's 5 seconds a day, 30 minutes per year. Assuming
60 plugging-in years of life, you've spent over 30 hours turning plugs
around.
30 hours is a lot longer than half a second.
