Default What is 'Primary Lithium Ion' laptop battery?

I am looking to buy a new battery for my Toshiba a75-s209 laptop.
I already have seen warnings against 'refurbished batteries, and so I
will go for a new one. I can only hope that if a vendor says the
battery is new that it really is. The model is PA3383U-1BRS.

I see in Google searching that some of this battery are listed as
'Primary LI-ION' and 'Primary Lithium Ion'. My Googling of this term
has not shown me what this means.

Should I worry about this? Are all batteries (at least of this model)
'Primary', whether said to be or not?

Another question I have is how long one of these 12-cell batteries
should sustain its strength. Right now, I only get about 45 minutes!
That seems not very long to me.

Thanks in advance
