Class not registered error
wrote, On 4/4/2014 3:40 PM:
I have reinstalled fresh version of W7 (Home Premium) and am trying
to re-install the software. One package is giving me the error 'class
not registered' when I try to execute any program in the package -
which was working in the W7 replaced. The reinstall was 'fresh' - I
reformatted the drive first.
I googled the subject and tried everything suggested I think.
Anyone?
Thanks
Big Fred

Tried the AVS Support option ?
http://support.avs4you.com/login.aspx
It's licensed software with registration via an email address (and
password). The product site provides the ability to logon and ask
questions of the manufacturer.
Did the error messsage dialog box say 'Microsoft Visual Basic' and
include additional information such as 'Looking for object CLSID..'?
Did the message provide a dialobg box with file names that did not
registry properly ?
If Windows is not updated to Service Pack 1 level, do so...then attempt
to reinstall the AVS4You suite of products.
