my evo laptop is almost 7 years old and stuff.
it is a phone edition laptop and stuff.
since it is a phone model pc, i wanna get software for it that will let it
startup the gprs modem and have basic phone features and stuff without
booting windows. i want the software to do a few other things as well, like
being able to reprogram the quicklaunch buttons for use in the phone
application. there are only 6 buttons i wanna reprogram,including the volume
buttons. i want the buttons to do different things depending if the notebook
is closed or open. i want it to work a certian way so that i can leave the
notebook on all day and just have the phone software on and not windows. the
phone software should work in a way so that it uses very little power
allowing the notebook to be on all day.


can someone please help me find something like that so that i can use the
phone hardware and stuff in the notebook without starting windows?
