Default How to recover offline syncronized files

Hi,
if I understand right,
the user haven't synchronized the files yet ?
What do you see under type in the Offline folders ?

Are you logged in into a domain (Can you access the server where the files
should be stored)?
If the problem is that you cannot get into the users profile, login with
another profile, map a network drive with users (the one that is affected)
credentials and open the folder where the files should be.

Please contact me if I wasn't clear or I misunderstood you.

I have a Win XP client that became disconnected from the network
shortly after it was set to move the My Documents to a server share.
Somehow this appears to have caused an error with offline files. When
you being up the offline folder on the client you can see the files
but they can't be opened. If you try to sync them it gives an error
on every file saying it can't copy the file.

I tried to turn file sync on and off and rebooted several times and
still have no access.

Is there a way to recover these files? The user had no backup and
moving them to the share was the attempt to set up the backup.

Thanks
