I found this on a Tweaksite:
Remove Windows Messenger:
Start - Run
Copy paste this line (without the quotes)
"RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove"
then click Ok.
