Problem solved: SpyBots S & D had home page locked and msn messenger tried
to change home page from my original "my.msn.com" to www.msn.com causing
page malfunction. Maybe this will help others updating messenger with
SpyBots S & D running in background.

Upon upgrading to MSN Messenger today to 6.1 I can not reset my home page

on
IE 6 to "my.msn.com." It defaults to:

http://runonce.msn.com/en/runonce.asp
and errors out. If I manually type http://my.msn.com I can bring up my

page.
I am have been running XP Home (sp1 and all present updates installed)with
no problems for some time. I had version 6.1 already but messenger said it
needed to install 6.1 so I installed it and now the option in IE to set

home
page is grayed out. I am running Norton AV and it and all other programs
were shut down at the time. No virus present or spy bots. Any help would

be
appreciated.
