faxes opening in Paint??

Winxp(home) and built-in xp fax program.
Not sure what I've done but all my faxes are now opening in Paint as .tiff

75% of incoming faxes are deleted so I don't need/want
Paint/Paint-Shop-Pro, etc. opening them.
Would like to reset them back to open in Picture and Fax Viewer.
