It is very frustrating. I found Win 98 networked easily, and everytime. I
have so much trouble understanding what's so hard for Microsoft to get this
right!

My home XP network is working just fine, but I'm trying to change over 5 old
'98 computers in my office, which were working fine, to 5 new xp computers
for which, to this point, very little has gone well.

Computer Browser service was set to manual on both systems but was not
starting/ed. I set them to Automatic and started them.

Instant results!
