the start menu, I presume the fact that I don't _have_ an "activate
windows" option under .../accessories/system tools confirms that my
Windows is genuine? (I have no reason to believe otherwise; nice to be

laptop and it was an option in programs/accessories/system tools. When
I open it I get a message that I am already activated.
I am not sure why you don't have that unless it is one of those Dells
with a generic activation someone spoke of earlier here. (or a bootleg
copy).

It's a Toshiba that I bought with 7-32 Home Premium already installed;
running MGADiag as suggested by Paul says it is genuine.



I thought we were talking about XP.
