Default Update XP Screensaver

Tim,
Thankyou for your last advice.
I am wrong ofcourse, the standown of the screensaver is apparently form
windows OS and not instigated by the AOC monitor software. Since I stripped
away all timeout settings from the screensaver, excepting the basic timing
for the screensaver, well the screensaver runs indefinately, until I disturb
it.
Thankyou,
Dave

Well this would be easy to test out...

Turn OFF the Windows controlled screensaver, and any other monitor
power-mode time-out in "Power Options" so that the screen *should* be ON
all the time - forever.

If then the screen [still] turns itself off - you then know that it is a
function of the monitor!

Further to the previous of late Mar/early April when I said that it
appeared to me that XP on my machine had a mind of it's own in regard to
screensaver op. Well it seems that not just XP has functions in regard
to the screensaver which appear to be beyond my control - well enter the
two AOC LCD screens that I have for doing their own thing. I have just
noticed that after the screen saver was in operation for about 20, the
two screens both switched off together, ie, what I thought was
screensaver humbug in XP, is in this case, some preset operation of the
LCD screens which after a preset period have switched off. When I say
switched off, well I can only at this stage say that the "On" leds which
are blue in normal mode, both went to Orange, which is their down mode.
This maybe of interest to those of you who use LCD screens. Oh and I did
a scan of the PDF's for these screens and their is no mention of this
function, that I saw.
Dave.
