Default Trouble Installing XP Office

No. You are not using the correct install. You are attempting to install
an upgrade edition. If you do not have a previous version of Office then
you cannot use the product.

Also, if you are attempting to upgrade Office 2002 Standard or Academic to
Office 2002 Pro, you cannot. Unlike XP which supports upgrade from Home to
Pro, Office Standard cannot be upgraded to Pro.

Please post back with the exact version of Office you have on your computer
(Standard, Pro, Academic, etc or none) and the exact version of the upgrade
you are attempting to install (Standard, Pro, Academic, etc).

I insert the Office XP Pro CD-upgrade verison 2002. Asks for name, product
key, etc. Then, error. Product complicance check. Setup has failed to
locate a
valid qualifying product on your machine. Please select drive where a
qualifying product can be found.

I am using the correct cd to install? I have 3. The one listed above, and
two I have not used yet for the install. Office XP Ver.2002 Media Content.

do I fix this?

Please post the EXACT error message, word for word. "I cannot install"
doesn't say anything.
