Yes, people that post copyrighted material and boast about it.
Even had DMCA takedowns on their stalking blogs. Some of them use
Usenet.

Since Usenet was meant to be anonymous, you only spot the
really "bad guys" due to their repetitive stalking, which usually
starts with disrupting threads and asking for full names and
professions.
It then goes on to posting emails to employers and family
members, using enough real information about the person to make the
recipient think ALL the content is all true.
Which has lead to the suicide of at least one person.
The stalker then repeatedly posts the obituary.
A very sick "game".

PS Paul - BD knows all about posting illegal binaries on
Usenet. He has done it himself.
