Google has a "reverse image" search function.
I used that to locate a similar camera.
"Foscam FI9816P"

Look for the text string "Record full strategy", which
on PDF page 63 is set to "Cover". That means, it will
overwrite the oldest record on the SD when full. The
pulldown menu may have other settings (like "Stop" maybe?).
Anyway, that's the best I can do at tracking down a manual.
The camera could be an OEM camera, and sold by a number
of companies. Or maybe Foscam actually makes it, and
resells it to others.
No sign of Samba or SMB. The camera contains an FTP
client but not an FTP server. It can push alarm
events to a PC running an FTP server.
And the RTSP reference in the manual, is this one.
Apparently, it's something VLC supports. It's
a protocol from RealNetworks.

Hi Paul,
Today when the SD was full the oldest day was deleted! So my
initial 'problem' was no problem at all as you already mentioned.
THX!!!
Harry.
