If you do not use PowerPoint Viewer 2007 (not the full PowerPoint 2007,
mind you - but as the description you quoted said - PowerPoint Viewer) -
why do uyou have it installed?

You can go into Control Panel -- Add or Remove Programs and remove the
Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer if you do not use it - however - if you plan
on keeping it in case you need to ever view any PowerPoint Files (2007 or
prior) someone might send you/you obtain - then you should apply the
update as directed.
