Default Un install and then re install

I found a solution that now works wonderful. It is a trick I learned a long
time ago about cleaning electronic switches and other parts.
I took the hood off the mouse and then squirted just a little Naptha into
the
switch for clicking the mouse.
If you don't know what that is, it is cigarrett lighter fluid, the fluid
dries
clean. Don't use alcohol because it leaves an oil residue.
By the way, i also disconnected the mouse (while the computer was turned
off, actually unplugged) before I squirted the switch.
I know that it is not expensive to buy a new mouse, but why buy a new one
when the old one works good. Even though I struggled with it for a long
time.

Also, check that the setting in :

"Control Panel" "Folder Options" "General" tab lowest area "Click
items as
follows"

....is set to "Double-click to open an item (single-click to select)" and
*not* set
to "Single-click to open an item (point to select)".
