Is there any way to remove this Hotfix without reloading Windows?
I am comfortable working in the registry.

Hi James,

Please explain what happened. How did you install that update, from the
Knowledge Base article hotfix page? from Windows Update? Did it completely
install? What problems before or after have you had?

Some Microsoft XPS features are not available in Windows Server 2003 and
in Windows XP

WARNING: Once installed this update cannot be removed through Add and
Remove Programs.

Note: This update can also be obtained as part of the Microsoft XPS
Essentials Pack. For more information, visit the following Microsoft Web
site:

Do you have a System Restore point that pre-dates the installation?

Is there some reason you have not installed Service Pack 3 yet?

HTH. (Hope This Helps.
