Default Icon Arrow

Somewhere in the past I caused the removal of the Icon Arrow (Win7

Setting up another Win7 64bit. I copied the line in the registry just
as my old computer and the arrow is gone, now have a larger overlay
with a Windows icon of a folder.

Can someone give me the directions to remove the Icon arrow or any
overlays? I have used the .reg programs with no help.

TIA

NEVER change registry entries if there is an application that will
accomplish the same result. I can control whether to show the arrow on
shortcut icons by using the Ultimate Windows Tweaker, which I got four
years ago from
http://www.thewindowsclub.com/ultimate-windows-tweaker-v2-a-tweak-ui-for-windows-7-vista.
It apparently is still available from that Web site.

When I launch Ultimate Windows Tweaker, I select Additional Tweaks in
the menu on the left. The first checkbox under "Some additional tweaks"
controls whether or not to have the arrow: a checkmark means "no" and no
checkmark means "yes".
