There have been only two Win7 NGs on the Microsoft public news server for
a few months, both in the Italian (.it.) language. But the "Newsgroups"
listing doesn't show them today, even when I Reset List. Maybe that means
that Microsoft has killed them. :(

When did you post there and see your message? Were you on the MS server,
or one that mirrors all or some of the groups?

Well as a test I just tried responding to a post here and cross posting to
microsoft.public.it.windows7,alt.windows7.genera and it does not show up
there. Then I tried doing a test at
microsoft.public.it.windows7,alt.windows7.genera

and cross posting that here and both show up in both groups. I don't know
enough about how this works to have any idea what this means.
