I had another idea, I decided to try the external HD I use for Mrimgs
and it works!

I checked Disk Management for my status and says online.

So there must be something wrong with the Startech case I'm using
for the cloning, the USB wire or how I have the hd drive seated. I have
a brand new Startech case I've never used and a spare cable and power
supply cable. Perhaps I should change it all out?
