Default N'Vidia Detonator Drivers and XP

Perhaps the card is broken. Did it ever work or did this start when you added it?

Andrew,

My PS is a Channelwell 550 watts Dual Fans. No problem there. And I'm using
the 41.09 version of Detonator. It's still doing random re-boot even now
that I'm using the Microsoft version of NVidia drivers. The card is a
Chaintek 440 Special Edition.

Which version are you using currently? Perhaps the instability is caused

by your power supply, often
and overlooked part. What wattage is it? Big name brand?

I understand the new drivers from N'Vidia are not Microsoft approved
anymore. I use a Chaintech MX440 and detonator drivers. I get an unusual
number of reboots and shutdowns (blue screen of auto shutdown by the

system)
considering I have brand new CPU and Board. They often refer to display
DLLs. Otherwise, everything works flawlessly including the video. If I

use
the regular drivers from XP, I get even more problems.

Anyone running N'Vidia and detonators having the same problems? Would

the
new release 43.45 solve those issues?

Angelo
