If you want games for Windows 8.1 about the only way to get them is to go to the Windows Store. This is not an ideal
solutions as many of the games come packed with advertising. I have downloaded the Klondike Solitaire Collect. It is
a quite nice version with several layouts. The card backs are the traditional card backs and the cards are of a nice
size. While it comes with advertising, it is easily defeated by turning off your LAN connection before you start the
game.

I am still looking for a good Mahjong game.

Well, I've installed the W7 games in W10, using a W8 method. Not sure what I used, but I found it by googling.

Might have been something like

I'm not sure how people say they just copy the win7 games to 8 but that never seemed to work, at least originally. The
was once a patcher program out to modify a key spot in the exe files so they thought they could run on a later version
of windows than 7. But it some how got pulled from the internet. I was lucky enough to get it and fixed all my games
to run and have them all windows 8. The link given above is a new solution but I'm sure it's basically the same thing.

I get something like this.
