Default Will this work? Download program on XP and install it on Win7.
I want to buy a portable with win7. I would like to keep it
off the net until I install a few programs: ZoneAlarm
firewall, Panda Cloud security, Spyware Blaster and perhaps
a few more.

Will this scheme work? On my XP (MCE), I will download the
programs, and instead of having them run and install, I'll
save them to a finger drive and execute then on the new
portable win7.

Will this work? Or is there a problem with downloading
under XP and installing under Win 7.
