Default Finally Found a use for Windows Edge

My ISP (Shaw Cable) gives us account holders a Free streaming TV
service with about 80 popular channels at no charge which can be used
on any of our devices, Cellphone, Tablet, TV or computer.

Seeing my computer is in my bedroom I decided to install this service
on it So instead of tying up my main browsers, Firefox or IE, I
installed it to run on Edge as my home page and seeing it requires
Adobe flash this works out quite well, One mouse click and I have
instant streaming TV with no hassle. So you see Windows Edge does
serve one purpose in life. :-)

Maybe Shaw is giving away the access for free because it'll die in about
a year. Seems they are unwilling to switch from Flash to using HTML5
video for streaming content. The only reason I can think of why they
have not yet converted is that they don't plan to expend the resources
and instead will let the free service die (because Adobe dropped Flash
and the web browsers did, too). However, your cell phone, tablet, and
TV probably don't use Windows 10 as the OS, so Shaw really doesn't need
to use Flash to deliver that streamed content.

What happens when Adobe dumps Flash at the end of 2020?

Are you currently using a version of Edge that switched from their
EdgeHTML engine to using Google's Blink engine (same on in Chrome)?
