Maybe Shaw is giving away the access for free because it'll die in about
a year. Seems they are unwilling to switch from Flash to using HTML5
video for streaming content. The only reason I can think of why they
have not yet converted is that they don't plan to expend the resources
and instead will let the free service die (because Adobe dropped Flash
and the web browsers did, too). However, your cell phone, tablet, and
TV probably don't use Windows 10 as the OS, so Shaw really doesn't need
to use Flash to deliver that streamed content.

What happens when Adobe dumps Flash at the end of 2020?

Are you currently using a version of Edge that switched from their
EdgeHTML engine to using Google's Blink engine (same on in Chrome)?

Using the latest Windows 1909 version of Edge, Don"t know the version
number.
Well seeing it's free I will use it untill its dropped then move on to
something Else, Ya can't expect free stuff to go on forever.
