Perhaps you remember my troubles due to those images that since May/June
2012 sometimes change or are changed.
I ask to experts further information.

Just in those months I installed Fax of Windows XP and Windows Media Player
11.
Fax of Windows XP is uninstalled now. Despite this fact, is it possible that
Fax has permanently changed/damaged my system?
Windows Media Player 11 is still working instead. Could it be the culprit?
Does it directly or indirectly affects images?

I apologize for my insistence but admiring perfect images is my main
interest when I use my PC.
