Default Does MSN Messenger support SSL connectivity?

Greetings,

MSN Messenger and Windows Live Messegner don't support encryption (minus authentication), but
you can add it using this (although your clients will need it as well for it to be
encrypted):

In a enterprise environment, using Live Communications Server and Windows Messenger/Office
Communicator supports TLS and therefore is encrypted, but that would just be internal
traffic.

Hello,

Does anyone know if any version of MSN Messenger supports SSL connectivity
for relatively private / secure communications? If so, which version(s)
support it and how does one turn it on?

If not, does anyone know of an instant messaging solution that supports MSN
contacts and SSL communications?

I could not find information about such on Microsoft's websites. I do know
that in many troubleshooting forums, SSL 2.0 and 3.0 should be turned on in
IE's preferences; however, I did not know if this implicitly means that MSN
Messenger itself also supports SSL.

Thank you in advance,
Joe
