In the transition from 95 to 98 the internal POS from bellsouth was
nothing but trouble. I ended up with a used speedstream (SWBell) off
ebay. It is still running. This is a one-holer feeding a Belkin 4 port
router, now on the second one after the first developed the tendency to
lose setup.

the older Motorola stuff seemed to last but the new I've dealt with
seems to die early. Cayman was good, Netopia was good in the larger box
but the matchbox seems to run hot and I suspect that was the cause of
death.

The only Zyzel I dealt with seemed solid.
