Default RAM drive for XP possible?

I have a motherboard that supports up to 4G of ram.
I would like to segment half of that to a ram drive.

Why? What do you want to use that RAM drive for.

Except in very special cases, using RAM for a RAM drive is counterproductive
in a Windows environment.
