Default Preregister Window 10 Icon on the Taskbar

Has anyone else noticed that the Window 10 Preregister Icon disappeared

It was there last night, but it is not there this morning.

I have not made any updates this morning so there must have been a
timing loop in the program to deactivated it.

Mine is still there, but there's a different message now:

"We're validating Windows 10 for your PC. We recommend that you
upgrade after you get your notification that Windows 10 is ready for
your specific PC.

"While upgrades have started for most PCs, we're continuously working
with our partners to ensure that even more PCs work well with
Windows 10"

Then there are two click boxes:

"OK, notify me when ready" "More information"

and if I click "more information", I get:

"We're working with our partners to make sure that Windows 10 is ready
for your particular PC. When you get your notification, it means that
you
can proceed with your upgrade"

Talk about tautology! And does that suggest that there *might* just be
some teething troubles that have only just come to light ..... ?

Well, I think I have downloaded all the data necessary. I have four PCs
and a laptop. Altogether last night I downloaded around 12 Gigabytes!
And I found all the data in C:\$Windows.~BT on each computer. Mostly it
was over 4GB but on one computer it was only 2.9GB
