If you want to work on or back up data files, just Copy them to whatever
system you use for that and work on them there. Or email them to

To use a command line from Windows client the path would have to be one
that Windows command shell can understand. MTP will not work. What you
would need for Windows is SMB. So like a remote Linux server I would say
you need to have a samba server on the Android device to mount the
share. There is a samba server app, I have not used it, but I would
guess if it works that is what you need.
