I thought you could see it on my website. I named it faxini.ini to
identify it. Here it is:

Duh! Sorry I missed that the file was posted on your web site. That looks
like the missing start menu items for the Windows fax thing to me. Have you
tried right clicking and selecting Install? (I could be wrong so may want
to create a restore point before trying that)

When I right click, I see no Install option. The choices are Open (I
told you about that), Explore (gives me a hierarchy like Windows
Explorer), Delete, Rename, Sort by name, Properties.

The fax printer is needed to "print" your fax into a document (cover page
info, content, inserted image if there is one) that can be transmitted. It
is used by MS Fax for normal operations.

Yes, I've heard about that nuance, but we're obviously not there yet.

If you use the Fax options in any of the Office programs (most notably
Word), printing the document you create to the fax printer will then hand
the delivery of the document over to the fax program.

Yes, I've heard about that, too, and I'd be willing to go via
Office if that's what it takes to transmit. But we aren't there yet either.

I think it is supposed to be created by the install of MS Fax. That did not
happen on my system and I had to add it manually.

So now I've tried just about everything (except the "install" that I
don't see), and so I think it's time to try Uninstall and Install
again (or do you have some further ideas?). But The Add/Remove doesn't
remove everything, unless what I did WAS the "remove" and all I have
to do is start Add/Remove again. What's your thinking?
